Making Sense of Language Arts partners with schools, churches, and other nonprofit organizations to provide volunteers, resources and community engagement.
Winton Hills Academy–our program has been offered to the kindergartners of Winton Hills for 20 years, through moves to 3 different campuses. Winton Hills is part of Cincinnati Public Schools (CPS) district. www.winton.cps-k12.org/
St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Spring Grove Village (formerly Winton Place) –has provided volunteers to tutor at Winton Hills and other schools since our beginning. They have also provided some funding throughout the years. www.stbernardcincy.org
Woman’s City Club (WCC) — since 2006 WCC has provided volunteers to administer testing, help with lesson planning, consulting, and tutoring. In addition to serving at Winton Hills they established our relationship with Rothenberg Academy. WCC has also helped with funding and securing grantors. http://womanscityclub.org

Ignatian Volunteer Corps— since 2012 IVC has partnered with MSLA and provided volunteer-volunteer coordination, volunteer lesson planners, and tutors. www.ivcusa.org/ivc-offices/welcome-to-ivc-cincinnati/
First Unitarian Church Cincinnati— has provided tutors to Winton Hills and Rothenberg and then began offering the Making Sense of Language Arts program at a third Cincinnati Public School, South Avondale. The program is completely staffed by FUCC and contracts with MSLA for use of the curricula. http://www.firstuu.com/
